PRIDE CAT IV
2024 was a tender year. We made the conscious choice to shift away from past partnerships and decided to support Save Lyon-Martin Community Health, a vital clinic providing gender-affirming care, with $1,250 raised. 75 riders joined in, and while the vibe was still celebratory, there was an undercurrent of reflection—on who we uplift, who gets left behind, and how to build queer spaces that hold complexity.
This year was also the first Pride Cat without Patty. Losing Patty was a hit to many us in both local and global communities. Patty embodied the values and was a pillar of Pride Cat. The 2024 Pride Cat donation was made in honor of our good friend and beloved queirdo, Patty Do, who so many of us miss deeply.

PRIDE CAT III
By 2023, Pride Cat had become a cultural staple in the Bay Area fixed gear community. With over 80 racers and $1,800 raised, we kept the grassroots energy alive while making space for deeper connections.
We saw more returning riders, better race infrastructure, and a growing number of new faces cheering from the sidelines. Donations again went to The Transgender District.

Pride Cat returned with more momentum, drawing 96 racers and raising $2,600 again for The Transgender District. Many participants were first-time alleycat racers, brought in by word of mouth and local biking communities.
Pride Cat always prioritizes WTFNB categories and community connection, and ended with a joyful park hangout.
